Rental operations (pickup profile and walkaround)

The pickup wizard ships with three variants. Pick the one that matches how you actually hand keys to customers.

Pickup profile

Standard (default)

Full pickup flow — walkaround, fuel and mileage readings, document verification, contract signing. Default for new shops, best fit for rental-first operations where the vehicle is the product.

Quick (express counter)

Skips the walkaround. Captures the minimum readings needed to authorize the rental. Best for high-volume rental counters where staff is shoulder-to-shoulder with the customer and a structured walkaround would slow throughput.

Body shop (RO loaner)

Skips the walkaround AND the detailed readings step. Designed for collision shops handing a loaner alongside an open repair order — the loaner is your fleet’s normal asset, not an event-worthy transaction.

Walkaround toggle

Only adjustable when the profile is Standard. The Quick and Body shop profiles force the walkaround off regardless of the toggle.

When walkaround is on, the pickup wizard surfaces a step that captures the photo angles configured for your tenant before allowing advance.

When walkaround is off, the wizard skips the step entirely.

What changes after you save

Effective immediately on the next rental pickup. Rentals already mid-wizard are not affected.
